Bustin Loose is the amalgamation of five seasoned musicians. The band plays everything from Colin James to the Coasters. And a variety of new and old country as well.

Bio
Norm Dolbec - Rhythm Guitar/Vocals
Is a French Canadian originally from the Timmins area. He has been a resident in Midland for over 20 years. He was in a very successful family band called Thunder Canyon. Toured for seven years. He then took his skills locally playing with different bands in the area. He is the lead singer and rhythm guitar player.
He has a fantastic voice and has a vast repertoire for any occasion.
Carol Baird - Lead Guitar/Vocals
From Wasaga Beach, Ontario, Carol Barnes Baird- Carol worked with an all-female band called Denam and Lace for over 30 years. She was nominated for guitar player of the year from the Canadian Country Music Association. Denam and Lace also toured with Gerry and the Pacemakers and were featured on many Television shows in Canada and the USA. Carol is also Metis. She is a great addition to Bustin Loose.
Ollie Strong - Steel Guitar
Canadian steel guitarist originally from Bolton, Ontario, Ollie won the Hank Smith Award of Excellence in 2022 from the Canadian Country Music Association!
Ollie Strong’s career began in the 1950’s, he is among the first of a small handful of pickers in Canada to begin playing Pedal Steel Guitar.
Noted as an early member of the house band on CBC TV’s Tommy Hunter Show, over the course of his career Ollie backed up legends such as Ray Price, Jean Shepard and Jim Reeves. His playing is featured on albums by Canadian heroes Gordon Lightfoot, Murray McLauchlan and, Dick Damron.
He is credited as the Steel Guitarist on Funkadelic’s 1972 album, America Eats Its Young.

Rob Almond - Bass Guitar/Harmony Vocals
From Bracebridge Ontario. Rob has been singing since before he could talk and has played bass for over twenty five years. A lover of all things musical, he enjoys the thrill of playing with a variety of people in all kinds of genres.
Rob being very multi-talented, has also recently been involved in local theatre playing several roles in "the Little Shop Of Horrors" production in Bracebridge that was received with overwhelming success.
He earns his living as a journeyman carpenter, while helping his wife raise two incredible children. A welcome addition to Bustin' Loose.
Tina Turley - Drums/Vocals
Hails from Huntsville, Muskoka, she is a self-taught drummer.
When she was 12, she was playing drums and singing with her father and his group at local pubs and Legions in the Sault Ste Marie area, then later in and around Muskoka/Parry Sound.
By the time she was 19 she moved to Toronto and was hired to be the drummer and one of the lead singers in the all-girl band "Lace" that later became known as the trio "Denam and Lace," that went on to chart a hit with "Kick in the Heart".
With her consistent beat, fun-inspired groove and soulful singing, Tina is a welcome addition to the Bustin' Loose family.
